Paoli Mill Park, located on the grounds of the Paoli Mill (circa 1864) between the historic stone Mill building and the peaceful Sugar River, is perfect scenic spot in the center of the quaint little river town of Paoli, Wisconsin. Rich in history, initial construction of the Mill began in 1849 with a mill race, a channel of water to turn a water wheel, followed by a sawmill and a stone walled gristmill (grind mill), and in 1864, a charming three-story stone flour mill. Although the sawmill closed operations in in 1877, the flour mill stayed in operation through the 1940’s, serving as storage for a feed and seed business through the 1970’s.
In the 1980’s, and under new ownership, the Mill was renovated and housed a number of businesses, many of which have come and gone. Today the Paoli Mill is a destination with a unique array of shops, including My Typsy Gypsy, Molino Taqueria, and The Hop Garden Tap Room. Privately owned, but open to the public, the park is full of history and charm just nine miles from Madison. Drive, bike or walk to Paoli, and relax in the shade with farm-to-pint draft beer from The Hop Garden and a farm-to-plate bite from Molino Taqueria. (Carry-ins not allowed.) The Paoli Mills property was entered into the National Registry of Historic Places in 1979.

Wonderful outdoor space and great beer on tap. The taproom is in an old brick house with private event seating upstairs. Perfect on a nice day with live music.

What a charming place to imbibe Wisconsin's favorite adult beverage! In a historic building alongside the banks of the Sugar River, beer is made here with locally grown hops.

You feel like you're in someone's back yard. Everyone is friendly, they accept dogs and they had live music!
At this hard to find location, you will find unique beers on tap with regular live music and one of the most beautiful locations to drink a beer south of Madison.
